The next RRB meeting is on 28-29 April. Contributions for the WLCG are due by Monday 17 March and should be sent to lcg.office@cern.ch.

The contributors are the LHC experiment computing coordinators, WLCG operations coordination, WLCG TCB and the HSF representatives.

      • We are working on the agenda for OTF#3 to be held Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, February 11-12, at CERN. One focus will be on Analysis Facilities.

      • As discussed at the last couple of WLCG MB meetings, we would like to know from the WLCG community if they have suggestions for TCB members. We have received some already. Please contact the coordinators at wlcg-technical-coordinators at CERN.ch.

LHCb estimates storage needs for 2025 based on the rates of the
so-called "mu = 5.3" pp data recorded in a 2-week period in October
2024. In this period, we measured raw data rates of 8.8 GB/s to tape,
and 3.7 GB/s to disk. We are going through a big exercise of checking
and optimizing the physics selections using the data recorded in 2024,
and we believe that we will be able to record all of the 2025 pp and HI
data on the pledged resources. This assumes that all LHCb grid sites
can be used to process their proportion of the data.

We are currently in the process of evaluating the resources needed for
2026, where the situation may be more difficult, and will update our
computing resource request to the C-RSG in the coming month.
