Description
Charmless decays of B mesons provide a sensitive probe of direct CP violation and searches for new physics effects. In multibody decays, short and long-distance dynamics along with a sizeable effective weak phase in the interference between tree and penguin amplitudes can lead to a rich structure of resonances and signatures of CP violation as a function of the phase space. Using data collected by the LHCb experiment, this talk presents the amplitude analyses of three-body charmless B decays to charged hadrons. The precision measurements of the dynamics of CP asymmetries in the decay phase space improve our understanding of strong-interaction effects in hadronic B decays and provide stringent tests of the Standard Model.
