Description

The BESIII experiment has conducted extensive energy scans from √s = 3.7 to 4.95 GeV, leading to precise cross section measurements for various charmonium-related hadronic final states. The cross section for $e^+e^− → π^0π^0ψ(3686)$ is measured for the first time, revealing an enhancement around 4.2-4.4 GeV. Studies of $e^+e^− → Ξ(1530)^0 anti-Ξ^0$ + c.c. provide insights into charmed baryon pair production and find no significant signal for ψ(3770) decay into this mode. First measurements of the cross sections for $e^+e^− → K^0K^−π^+J/ψ$ + c.c. and $e^+e^− → K^+K^−ψ(2S)$ are presented, with the latter used to search for the charged $Z^±_{cs}$ state. Additionally, the cross section for $e^+e^− → Ω^+Ω^−$ is measured, yielding the effective form factor of the Ω baryon. These comprehensive measurements map out the production line shapes, probe potential exotic state contributions, and provide essential inputs for understanding the nature of the vector charmonium(-like) states (Y states) in this energy region.
