Description
In this talk, I discuss hadronic corrections to the Lamb shift and hyperfine splitting of (muonic) hydrogen, with a particular focus on the planned measurement of the ground-state hyperfine splitting in muonic hydrogen. A re-analysis of the finite-size corrections, based on electron-proton scattering data, is presented, discussing limitations of the scattering data and in the finite-size expansion. Furthermore, I present a consistent evaluation of mixed hadronic vacuum polarization and finite-size corrections.
