Description
Charm-hadron spectroscopy provides an important platform for studying the strong interaction in the non-perturbative energy regime. When kinematically allowed, charm resonances can appear as intermediate states in multi-body beauty-hadron decays. The fully reconstructible decay topologies enable not only precise determinations of the masses and widths of charm resonances, while properly accounting for interference effects between overlapping states, but also the extraction of their spin–parity quantum numbers. This talk presents recent relevant results from the LHCb experiment.
