Description
We present the performance of electromagnetic shower reconstruction in the ICARUS detector using νₑ interactions from the NuMI beam. ICARUS observes neutrino–argon interactions in the few GeV energy range, providing a suitable sample to study shower reconstruction in a liquid argon time projection chamber. We assess the reconstruction quality using purity and completeness metrics, studying their dependence on shower energy and event topology. These results are essential for validating reconstruction algorithms and for supporting νₑ cross-section measurements and oscillation analyses in ICARUS.
