Description
Even with the Higgs boson discovery in 2012, the Standard Model of Particle Physics is still incomplete in description of particle mass spectrum relying on a single number to be inserted by hand – the Higgs self-coupling. At large enough center-of-mass energies of 500 GeV and above, reachable in e+e- collisions only at a linear collider, double-Higgs production provides tree-level sensitivity to the trilinear Higgs self-coupling. Linear Collider Facility (LCF) proposed by the LC Vision community offers competitive Higgs physics program and unbeatable precision of the measurement of the Higgs self-coupling compared to the other e+e- projects. This program will be highlighted, together with the latest projections of the Higgs self-coupling precision, obtained with the reconstruction and algorithm improvements with the ILD detector.
