Description

Work Package Analisys (WPA) meeting for the extraction of the ITS2 detector (IB/OB) during LS3.

Objectives of the meeting:
- Analyse in detail the step-by-step procedure
- Ensure proper preparation of the activity
- Verify the readiness of the required tooling and equipment
- Identify any critical points or safety risks
- Define and implement mitigation actions in advance, where necessary

-ITS2 team in charge of the disconnection of the detectors and ALICE TC is in charge of the deinstallation. 

-to update the radiation controlled area--> should be supervised.

-the cooling plant will stay off, the racks A side will be locked out. 

-first to disenage the TOP and then together, and then first TOP and then BOTTOM.

-the valve will be removed before, to have more space for the installation.the bottom part will stay to keep the beam pipe flange in place.

-the transport chassis are one for each type ( IB/OB) then will be put on another chassis.

planning: the IB foes to meyrin.to rework the 2-3 staves not working and keeping as spare in case its3 will have problem. if the IB goes to the 167, we need to have a supervised area in the 167. detectos are measured in the cavern, but they are very likely to have some activation. to declassifed the object, to use gamma ray spectoscopy. RP is equipped with the machine, we booked already and they will do the measure. just fence off the detector and classify only the detector.at least 1 m from the object. 

-transport: alice TC is organizing the transport to Meyrin.
