Transport & Directions

Participants - including invited speakers - are responsible for their own travel arrangements. Invited speakers are requested to retain all confirmation & receipts of travel for reimbursement purposes.

The easiest way to use public transport in Seoul is to purchase a T-money card from any convenience store. It can then be topped up directly at a convenience store or in any subway station (cash only). 

From Hotel Skypark Dongdaemun to Kyung Hee University: 

Subway/bus: (~35mins)

  1.  Walk to Dongdaemun subway station (9min)
  2.  Take line 1 to Hoegi Station (10min) 
  3.  Transfer to the Dongdaemun 01 bus and get off at the third stop (3min)
  4.  Walk to Space21 building (6min) 

(alternatively one can walk directly from Hoegi station ~20min) 

Bus: (~40mins)

  1.  Walk to Dongdaemun history & culture park bus stop (5min)
  2.  Take the 261 bus and get off at KyungHee middle & high school (24min)
  3.  Walk to space21 building (13min) 

 

Taxi: (~25 mins) 

Fare: ~ ₩10,000

From Incheon International Airport to Hotel Skypark Dongdaemun:

Subway: (~100mins)

Fare: ~₩5,500

  1. Take the Airport line to Seoul Station (66min)
  2. Transfer to line 4 and ride the subway to Dongdaemun station (8min) 
  3. Walk to the hotel (6min)

 

Taxi: (~80 mins) 

Fare: ~ ₩65,000

From Gimpo International Airport to Hotel Skypark Dongdaemun:
