The first MLQC4FC Training School is organised within the COST Action CA24146 “Machine Learning and Quantum Computing for Future Colliders (MLQC4FC)”, and it will be held at the Institute of Physics in Belgrade, Serbia.

The MLQC4FC COST Action brings together European expertise in machine learning (ML), quantum computing (QC), particle physics, collider technologies, and data infrastructures to accelerate innovation towards the next generation of future particle colliders.

The school aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration by strengthening collaboration between theorists, experimentalists, and computer scientists, while equipping PhD students and postdoctoral researchers with state-of-the-art knowledge and practical skills at the interface of high-energy physics, machine learning, and quantum computing. Through lectures, tutorials, and hands-on sessions, participants will explore supervised, generative, and geometric learning techniques, as well as the fundamentals of quantum computing and its emerging applications in simulation and data analysis for future collider experiments.

By the end of the school, participants will have developed a shared conceptual understanding across HEP, ML, and QC, gained practical experience with state-of-the-art methods, and established valuable collaborations within the MLQC4FC network.

Only a subset of applicants will be selected through a competitive selection process, and they should provide a reference letter as part of their application.
