Description

Whitepaper on the LENA Experiment

Summary

We propose to establish a european neutrino laboratory in Pyäsalmi/Finland and to build the LENA detector there on a relatively short timescale. LENA has a superb physics potential as a stand-alone experiment and can be used a far-detector for a future long-baseline beam from CERN.
