Goal of the meeting to sort out delegation in EMI-ES.

Summary of agreement document (presented by Paul):
gridsite protocol (from 2006) is the proposed agreed mechanism in EMI.

gridsite library SHOULD be used by new EMI products. Existing products using delegation SHOULD examine if they can use gridsite as an alternative to their existing solution.

gridsite 2.0.0 protocol is the one linked in the document and is from 2006. CREAM had to make changes when using this version of gridsite. WSDL needs to be changed. These problems were not communicated to Paul.

A new protocol will be defined by the OGF group lead by Paul, as of Today no drafts exist.

Very urgently (in two weeks) need to define a WSDL delegation based on gridsite 2.0.0 that can be used by EMI-ES. A WSDL document AND its interpretation needed. All this should be captured in the next version of the EMI delegation agreement document.

canl is complementary to gridsite delegation. canl give you the proxy handling, still need a wsdl agreement and a SOAP stack. UNICORE would rather use their own SOAP stack, and same with CREAM and ARC, so gridsite library will not be useful.

Creating a useful delegation WSDL for EMI-ES should technically be possible in a couple of weeks BUT requires commitment from all parties.

Actions:
- Paul will, as TF leader, take the leading role in making an agreement document that is useful for EMI-ES on a WSDL and interpretation.
- Björn, Weizhong, Aleksandr and Paul will make sure to be available, CREAM people (Lisa, Eric) did not protest so they will also be available for the coming two weeks.
- Paul will establish representatives, choose communication channel and call for phone meeting.
