Nightly builds
---
- POOL changes of tonight are not compiling in dev1 (but dev works?). Marcin has fixed the problem and re-tagged.
- Some tests for linux and osx builds are failing in dev for Root, Seal, Cool, Pool
- A problem with genreflex in dev for windows has been resolved, the Root build still seems not to work properly, (PyRoot not being built, exception thrown in libCore). For the pyRoot, the cause was found and fixed, currently being rebuilt, libCore the issue will be checked together with Bertrand.
- Some warning messages in Pool, fixes suggested by Markus will be tried out soon.
Round Table

Pool, Coral, Cool

- Dirk asked whether we can have a tool to copy a version of the nightlies to make them persistent for some time, this tool could also be used to copy an lcg configuration to a local disk. At the moment no such tool is available. Nevertheless all the necessary information is stored in LCGCMT and it should be possible to extract from there. Dirk already has some script for this which could maybe be extended.
- Collections - Atlas issue with "file aging" in connection with the disk pools on castor under investigation
- CMS problem with frequency of connects to frontier, number of queries increases also under investigation
Atlas
---

- proposal to move to Python 2.5, will be discussed in the AF today
CMS
---
- Will pickup the new ROOT release as soon as it is ready
- Get in sync with LCG/AA externals, we have merged quite a lot of version numbers already, Andreas and/or Pete will check the changes foreseen for LCG 54
- Looking into gcc 4.2 builds for performance improvements
- Concerns about dictionary size from ROOT and how to improve it
LHCb
