CERN Tour

A complementary CERN Tour will be organized after the Plenary Meeting in co-operation with CERN Visits Service. To take part in the event, please book your place when registering for the meeting using the registration form. The number of places is limited to 70.

The CERN Tour tentative agenda (subject to change) includes:

• Compact Muon Detector (CMS) - an underground visit
• LHC magnest test facilities (SM18)
• CERN Control Center (CCC)
• Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) control center - AMS is a detector installed on the International Space Station

The tour starts at 13:30 at the CERN Reception (building 33, be there 15 min in advance) and is scheduled to finish at 18:00. CERN is not responsible for any delays that may occur. 

An introductory talk to the CERN Tour will take place on Tuesday evening and is open to all participants.

At any time and at any place you are allowed to take pictures at CERN.
