The training, organized by STMicroelectronics-Catania IPD R&D department) in collaboration with Commitment, will take place 6-7 October 2014 at the Hotel Domus Mariae Benessere, Siracusa, Italy. It is addressed to all the researchers hired in the frame of FP7 PicoSEC-MCNet project.
Supervisors and other students invited by the partners of the project are also welcome.
This workshop will provide researchers with those soft skills they have to practise with to be efficient managers having to juggle multiple tasks, deliver projects and manage teams.
Gain successful objectives in current organizational contexts is no longer a matter of mere technical proficiency. Rather, it is a combination of technical expertise, the ability to manage both information and people, efficient communication and smart problem solving.
The following three modules provide an accelerated crash course on the most important topics related to building an effective managerial approach:
