The training will be held at CERN in room 93-1-011.

How to get to CERN

More info available on the website of Geneva public transport.The tickets are sold at automatic machines at every tram stop and cannot be bought in advance; the price for a 1 hour ticket is 3,50 CHF (ticket "Tout Genève" [check here all types of tickets]).

How to access CERN

After having reached CERN, participants to the training should go to CERN Reception, in building 33, and ask the security guard at the desk for a Visitor Card with their name for the "PicoSEC-MCNet training on effective communication of science inside the scientific community".

CERN Reception opening hours are: Monday - Friday from 8am to 5.45pm. Out of these hours, the Visitor Cards will be left at the security guard at CERN Entrance B, where the participants will still be able to collect them and enter the site.

Meals

Lunches will be held at CERN Restaurant 2; it's possible to pay by euros or swiss francs, but no credit cards are accepted.

Accommodation

No particular rate has been negotiated with any specific accommodation.

Anyway, as in the days of the training the area is expected to be very crowded, we can suggest to book a room at Ibis Hotel Saint-Genis-Pouilly, located in Technoparc, at walking distance from CERN.
