The circular polarization filter is designed in 1-dimensional (1D) chiral photonic crystal structure with defect. In this simulation, the structure is composed of 10 pairs of periodic layers of high (AgGaS$_2$) and low (quartz) refractive index chiral materials with defect layer in the middle.
