Description

I will discuss highlights from the recent Planck 2015 release and present the most stringent bounds to date on a widely accepted cosmological picture, including the latest results from the joint Planck/Bicep effort on the quest for primordial gravitational waves. The ΛCDM model withstood a wide collection of tests at increasing precision over the last decade and has, with the latest Planck results, surely gained further strength. At the same time, we still see small quirks in the data that may or not hint to new physics.
