Description of the ROOT event recorder, a GUI testing and validation tool.
Summary
The goal of this poster is to present the ROOT event recorder, a GUI testing and validation tool, allowing to record a full ROOT session, including command line and GUI events. The session can then be replayed, offering a fully automatic way to test and validate the different ROOT GUI components. This recorder offers also a nice way to create tutorials and automatic demonstrations, and can even be used as bug reporting tool. All these aspects will be covered in this poster.
