Description
In view of the upcoming experimental program at LHC the Department of Nuclear and Particle Physics at Uppsala University is organizing a four days workshop on the theme Prospects for Charged Higgs Discovery at Colliders at Gustavianum, Uppsala University, Sweden 13-16 September 2006. The intention is to bring together theorists and experimentalists to review the status of passed, current and future searches for charged Higgs at colliders, in particular with regard to strategies for the triggers, for the data simulation and for the data analysis in the various experiments. The different subjects within the field of research will be reviewed in a series of invited talks. Special emphasis will be placed on the potential for charged Higgs discovery at LHC. The various theories, models and Monte Carlo generators for charged Higgs production and decay will be reviewed. New ideas and results in these fields will also be presented in contributed talks and discussed in three consecutive thematic discussion sessions.
