Description
The purpose of the review is to present and discuss the conceptual design of the new interaction regions IR1 and IR5 that are proposed for the Phase-I of LHC luminosity upgrade. The review will focus in particular on the main parameters of the new low-beta quadrupoles, and on the layout options and their implications on the infrastructure.
Organizers: Ranko Ostojic, Lyn Evans (Chairman)
