The workshop will take place at "Salón de Grados" in the Faculty of Science of the University of Salamanca (Plaza de los Caídos s/n).

Once at the Faculty of Science, please follow the signs to reach Salón de Grados. Here there is also a map.

How to reach Salamanca by public transportation

By train: Trains are operated by Renfe .

By bus: Long distance buses are operated by AutoRes and ALSA (depending on your itinerary).

By plane:

Madrid-Barajas Airport: From the aiport there are several possibilities to reach Salamanca:

  • The simplest option to reach Salamanca is to use the bus service run by AutoRes, reaching Salamanca in aproximately three hours. The bus stops just outside Arrivals in Terminal 1.The same company also operates buses to Salamanca from downtown Madrid ("Estación SUR de Autobuses", Metro station "Méndez Álvaro"). It is best to use the Express Service.
  • There is also a train Madrid-Salamanca leaving from Madrid-Chamartín Station  (Metro station "Chamartín"). Schedules and fares can be found at RENFE. The railway station Madrid-Chamartín can be reached from the airport either by Metro from Terminals 2 and 4 or by local train ("Cercanías") from Terminal 4.
