Three identical sessions of this hands-on activity will take place, one at 2pm, a second at 4pm, and third on a subsequent day. Each of the participants will be assigned to just one session.
The ALICE experiment at the LHC is designed to study the collisions of relativistic lead ions. During such collisions, immense densities and temperatures are reached, and we expect matter to behave as a quark and gluon plasma.
