Summary
Topologies with boosted Higgs or Z bosons require special tau reconstruction and identification techniques, because they feature a small angular separation of the tau decay products. Recent developments in tau reconstruction techniques aimed at boosted topologies from the CMS collaboration and their application in physics analyses are discussed in this contribution.
