There will be a Workshop finger-food reception on the evening of Monday, 13 June 2016. The reception takes place in the DESY canteen extension and will start at 7.30 p.m
AIDA-2020 reception: Tuesday, 14 June
DESY invites you on Tuesday at 7.30pm the AIDA-2020 Annual Meeting Welcome reception in the DESY canteen extension
Conference Dinner: Thursday, 16 June
The conference dinner for the AIDA-2020 First Annual Meeting will take place in "Lutter-Wegner" restaurant at the famous Hamburg Fisch-market directly at the Elbe River.
We will start at 19:30 with a nice wine-reception enjoying a pleasant view out over the water from the restaurant's terrace.
Vegetarian participants will also be well catered with seasonal salads, and further vegetarian dishes from the buffet.
We hope you will really enjoy the delicious meal with a splendid view over the Elbe-river in the evening light!
How to Get There (Große Elbstraße 49, 22767 Hamburg)
You can easily use the public transport system with only 3,20EUR per one-way ticket or 6,20EUR single day ticket and take either
1) bus line 1 to Othmarschen, then the local train S1 will bring you to to the S-Bahn station "Landungsbruecke" and from here you have a choice to go on foot or to take a ferry boat 62 to the Altona Fish-market (about 40 min in total). Note for the way back that the last ferry boat is at 23.30!
or
2) bus line 1 to "Othmarschen", then S1 will bring you to "Königstraße" and from there on foot (about 40 min in total)
or (just in case it rains)
3) bus line 1 to Altona and then line 111 direction "Shanghaiallee" to the bus station "Sandberg", which is nearly in front of the restaurant.
