Scientific Programme

The Meeting will be opened on by representatives of the Autonomous Valencian Government and the University of Valencia. An Open Session will follow dedicated to theoretical models accessible to MoEDAL. 

The rest of the Meeting is reserved for MoEDAL collaborators. Several aspects of the experiment status and future plans will be discussed:

  • Detectors: Nuclear track detectors, monopole trappers and TimePix monitors
  • Theoretical models accessible to MoEDAL
  • Phenomenology: production cross section at LHC and current limits
  • Software: detector description, simulation of exotic-particle interaction with matter and New Physics event generation
  • Physics results from 2015 data analysis
  • Future publications
  • Organisational matters
