General information:
The venue of the Workshop is "MODULO 0" in the Faculty of Sciences of the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid (UAM). The entrance to the Faculty of Sciences is marked with the number 5 in the map of the UAM campus. Detailed information on how to reach the Campus from Madrid downtown or the airport, as well as how to reach Madrid down-town from the airport can be found in the section of "Travel & Directions". Lunches at the University: the main cantine (with a capacity for 300 people) starts serving lunches at 12:00; the price is 5.30 Euros for the complete meal and it includes two courses, bread and dessert or coffee, but not a drink (water carafes are available for free). It is not compulsory to request the complete meal; the price is reduced if only one of the two courses is taken. The main cantine is located in the bottom floor of "Plaza Mayor" and is very close to the venue of the Workshop. The location of the main cantine is marked in this map with the number 26 (the venue of the Workshop is marked with the number 5).
A Wireless connection will be available in the conference site.
The Social dinner will take place on Friday April 1st at 21:00 in "Restaurante El Rocio". Accompanying persons are welcome to participate with an additional fee of 30 €. Please indicate this in the registration fee, when you mark the number of dinners.
Social dinner at "Restaurante El Rocio": the restaurant is located in Madrid downtown. The address is: Calle Ramon de la Cruz 28, Madrid 28001 ("calle" means street in Spanish). Excursion to Segovia on Saturday, April 2nd.
Schedule:
* departure from Madrid at 13:00 (by bus)
* guided tour of the Fortress 16:00-17:00
* dinner at Restaurant "Jose Maria" at 20:00
(the dinner is optional)
* departure from Segovia at 22:30 (by bus)
Segovia is located 92km from Madrid and the trip takes about one hour.
The total cost is 65 euros (bus+tour+dinner) or 20 euros (bus+tour) to be paid in cash at the registration desk.

Further information about the dinner at Restaurant "Jose Maria": the main course is the world famous roast suckling pig, which, nevertheless, can be exchanged by anything else in the (wide scope) menu. In the confirmation email mentioned above, please include your preference as well as that of the accompanying persons.
Brief description of Segovia: Segovia, the old quarter of which, along with its Roman aqueduct, are World Heritage Sites, lies on high ground between the Eresma and Clamores Rivers. In addition to its famous aqueduct, numerous Romanesque churches, the Cathedral and Fortress go to form this magnificent landscape that presides over this part of Castile. The restaurants offer the visitor to savour the city's most traditional dish: roast suckling pig. Further information can be found in the link below:
