Participants are kindly requested to take care of their own hotel reservation. Madrid is a very touristic place and there are many hotels available. We recommend those that are close to local-train station hubs along the line C4 so as to reach easily the University campus. This map shows the local-train lines in the Madrid area; the four major stations in Madrid are highlighted: from South to North, "Atocha", "Sol", "Nuevos Ministerios" and "Chamartin".
For you to have an idea of the context of each station, they can be characterised as follows (see also this map):
- "Atocha" and "Sol": historical center.
- "Nuevos Ministerios": financial center.
- "Chamartin": residential and financial area.
