Description

This year marks the fortieth anniversary of the formulation of Supergravity by Sergio Ferrara, Dan Freedman and Peter van Nieuwenhuizen. A celebration has been organised at the Erice International School of Subnuclear Physics this year in June to mark the event. We will be hosting the three of them at CERN for an informal gathering to honour this momentous occasion on June 24th.

Supergravity is a central part of the scientific heritage of the Theory Department at CERN, and we would like to take this opportunity to celebrate a theory that has inspired and continues to inspire generations of physicists, theorists and experimentalists alike.

Organisers : Luis Alvarez-Gaume, Wolfgang Lerche
