First experimental edition of RCE based DAQ application development workshop. The workshop includes two days of intro presentations of RCE based application programming infrastructure, utilities and some specific application examples, followed by 3 days of specific application example development and close out with progress reports on the development projects. In contrast to previous workshops with more software emphasis, this workshop will try to orientate more towards firmware development.This first edition will only concentrate on the development on ArchLinux based platform with examples from ATLAS and DUNE.
