Wayne - Feedback from STEP09 and interaction with WLCG - The LHCOPN reacted well at the major incident. - T1-T1 traffic is important and need to be as reliable as T0-T1. T1-T2 traffic is also relevant. - LHCOPN operations should be better integrated with WLCG operations. Szymon and Fausto - perfsonar deployment update - deployed a new software release that contains some improvement for the LHCOPN - Perfsonar is part of GN3 that will run until 2013 - MDM clusters running at T0 and ten T1s. RAL has installed the hardware but still is not connected to the network. - Few sites still missing the GPS antenna connection. Gerard - perfsonar in Spain - Rediris has published a perfsonar installation DVD for the Tier2s. Guillaume - Operations - Lots of improvement to the Ticketing system. - Lots of tickets, mostly L2 maintenance Artur - USLHCnet - now six transatlantic links - Ciena boxes in Geneva and NYC will be upgraded soon. ACTIONS - Edoardo: add column in the lhcopn prefixex twiki table about the communities used - Wayne: Define what is a relevant incident to be reported to the WLCG - Wayne: Define what is a major incident (that require a post mortem analysis) - OpsWG: Replace BGP monitoring by 2010-01. with what? - Wayne and Edoardo: Propose a new LHCOPN link definition and identify all the possible concerned links: - NLT1-TRIUMF - NLT1-ASGC - FNAL-KIT - NLT1-FNAL then circulate a proposition - Wayne: gather requirments for T2s connectivity from the experiments - Edoardo: ask BNL if the second 10G link has to be dedicated to T1-T1 or can be just an upgrade to 20G. - Edoardo: ask CNAF if the second 10G link has to be dedicated to T1-T1 or can be just an upgrade to 20G. Next LHCOPN meting: 10-11 December 2009. Venue to be decided.
