The weekly meeting of the Software Process and Infrastructure project of the LCG/AA.

================================================== Ana Gaspar + Actions done - Installed tcmalloc 1.4 and libunwind 0.99-beta - COOL and Gaudi tests are now working again on slot test2 - Changed the client to execute just as many cores as available on the machine.   I also changed the server policy to avoid the overload of the system.(I've to check it again) - Enabled dev1 slot to run ROOT 5.24 patches - Installation of gcc 4.4.1 (at the moment only for x86_64 platforms) - Found out that libaio.so was missing on slc4 machines and then 40 CORAL tests were failing - New version of Synchronize.py for Jakob + Next actions - Check why Syncrhonize.py is not working as expected - Install gcc on all the platforms - Write the paper for the ICTS10 conference + Problems - Synchronize.py doesn't copy all the packages expected - CMT is failing on windows vc9 ================================================== Yves Perrin + Actions done and progress - Savannah  . approved new projects, help users with login pbs, etc  . help admins to configure their project (privacy)  . discussed new requests for changes for Atlas (item reassignments)    ... made a proposal to be discussed within Atlas Offline SW  . helped gLite Middleware to understand the savannah db    (they use a copy to monitor their workflow)  . fixed a bug that prevented notifications to be sent for items    submitted by anonymous users to projects using the ROOT defined    notification format - Drupal  . installed on our single codebase the modules Erik's used    in the CernVm Drupal site  . discussed with Carlos the problems encountered so far    (php version, access to AFS, redundant modules, etc)    and sent short summary to the interested people - Other  . wrote a script to extract, from the savannah database, info    related to the last 7 days to be reported to C5  . rejected membership requests to some of our e-groups    (will review e-groups settings more globally)  . prepared a few slides on Savannah for the SFT review + Next actions  . configure Drupal to automatically give roles/rights to people    who are member of an e-group (with Carlos)  . review SPI e-groups settings  . find a way to supress/change the Savannah 'Get support' link that    some people keep using instead of their project support requests. ================================================== Stefan Roiser + Actions done - LCGCMT changes for the setup of gcc 4.3 for slc5 - Preparing slides for Bjarne Stroustrup context free - graphviz installation on macphsft06 - Setup of the icc compiler environment for the nightly builds ==================================================
