The school is aimed at master students and PhD students in their first year and will introduce them to the basic concepts of theory and measurements of EWSB as well as their statistical interpretation.
The school costs will consist of the hotel fees only, which will amount to 372.50 Euro per person, and will include the full board service in the location.
Students who would like to attend should submit a short CV and ask for letter of recommendation from their advisor, that should be sent at the email address vbscan-schools@cern.ch with the name of the student clearly indicated. Th CV can be uploaded on the registration page (accessible through the menu on the left) together with some other basic information.
In case there are more applicants than places, the places will be according to academic achievement and development potential, as well as considerations based on COST inclusiveness policies.
There is a possibility to get grants, that will be covering the school fee and a fixed amount for the travel.
