Description

The prize committee recognised Giulio's significant physics analysis work, his major contributions to the experiment and his excellent thesis. Giulio made major contributions to the real-time alignment of the vertex detector, which are essential for the success of LHCb data-taking in Run II and beyond. He also carried out a search for four-body charmless baryonic B meson decays, resulting in the first observation of three new decay modes.
