Description
Many proposed extensions of the Standard Model contain particles with macroscopic life-times; decaying outside of the interaction point. Such particles pose unique challenges at the LHC. This talk provides an overview of the current status of these searches, as well as prospects for new experiments (e.g. MATHUSLA, FASER, SHIP, and CODEX-b) at the LHC which can close some interesting regions of theoretical parameter space.
