2. Particle Physics preparing for the update of its European Strategy

The Update of the European Strategy for Particle Physics will centre around the High-Luminosity operation of the LHC. Further input is being received till the end of 2018 to put in place a most comprehensive strategy – also on a global basis – that includes coverage of the burning questions till the middle of the coming decade. The Physics Beyond Colliders Study is an important element.
