Description
The performance of CMS muon system is crucial for many physics results in CMS. Recently, many upgrades related to muon performance have been carried out such as the installation of new pixel detector and the development of new algorithm in muon high-level trigger. The performance of CMS muon reconstruction and identification has been studied based on the data collected with the CMS detector at sqrt(s)=13 TeV in 2017. Muon reconstruction and identification efficiencies are measured using tag and probe method, and the results are compared to previous performances.
