From Manchester Airport
If you head to The Station there is the option of getting to Liverpool by train or coach (National Express services).
National Express provides a regular bus service every day from Manchester Airport to Liverpool coach station next to Liverpool ONE with the last coach at 23:50.
Walking from Liverpool ONE (City Centre) to the University takes approximately 20 min
Liverpool Lime Street station will be closed from 2 June to 29 July 2018 as part of the second and final major upgrade phase to the station which will include full and partial closure of lines into the station.
There will be limited trains running direct to Liverpool Lime Street. An alternative transport plan for affected passengers has been developed by operators Merseyrail and will involve keeping people on the rail network wherever possible by diverting many mainline services to alternative nearby station Liverpool South Parkway where passengers can change to the Merseyrail network for a train into Liverpool City Centre (approximately a ten minute journey).
