So we are few days out from seeing you in Macugnaga.
I want to give you the latest information, that I hope, will be useful for your stay.
1. the weather forcast for next week is not so optimistic. But many time it changes very very fast; moreover the most reliable forecasts are those provided by Switzerland. I remain optimistic since the last moment.
2. In any case remember that you will stay at 1300 msl so even with the sun shine the feeling is very nice.
3. I suggest to take with you warm clothes, umbrella, small boots, but also some light clothes: if the sun is shining, it is very hot and tans it perhaps more than at the sea.
For the trip:
a) if there will be the sun, we take the chair lift since Belvedere station at 1905 msl where there is the Restorant Rifugio Ghiacciai Del Rosa, where we take the lunch.

It is possible to make a very short walk that in 5 min allows to reach the border of moraine with the view of all the Monte Rosa's heights.
Than we come back, we visit by walking the old village and than we move with minibus to visit the Gold Mine of the Guia and the very small Walser museum.

At the end we come back to the hotel by bus.
b) if there will be rain, we cannot go to the top by chair lift. So we reamain in the village and we visit in more detail the old village and we visit the Gold Mine of the Guia, museum and come back.

You have to exit from the exit n. 8.
