Travel and Accommodation

Queen Mary university is located in the north-east of Central London

London is very well connected, by air and train.

This page contains campus maps and explains how to reach us from the various London airports. In addition, the Eurostar provides a direct train connection to several European cities.

To use London's vast net of public transportation,  we recommend to buy a rechargeable Oyster card at the airport trains station. This card is valid for buses, underground and trains, including the connections to the major airports, except for Stratford. It is straight forward to print receipts using a web interface and your unique card identification number.

London has a large variety of hotels in all categories and a large offer of rooms on the private market.

As a guidance, we offer a list of hotels which are well connected by  public transportation or within wain distance.

We recommend to book on-campus ensuite accommodations offered by the university. We have prebooked a block of 50 accommodations which can be booked via the conference fee payment process.
