Report on the experience (or the proposed activity). It would be very important to mention key services which are essential for the success of your activity on the EGEE infrastructure.

OSG and EGEE share common communities who submit work to resources across the 2 infrastructures.
Local and global interoperability is a shared goal.

Describe the added value of the Grid for the scientific/technical activity you (plan to) do on the Grid. This should include the scale of the activity and of the potential user community and the relevance for other scientific or business applications

OSG is a generally used national cyberinfrastructure in the US. As part of its mission it is working with Campus and
other local groups to enable them to fully participate and benefit from the technologies and resources.

Describe the scientific/technical community and the scientific/technical activity using (planning to use) the EGEE infrastructure. A high-level description is needed (neither a detailed specialist report nor a list of references).

Fermilab supports a scientific program which in-cludes experiments and scientists located across the globe. In
order to better serve this community, Fermilab supports data analysis of all its users through a grid
infrastructure called FermiGrid [1] and through FermiGrid to make leading contributions to the general of the
Open Science Grid.
We will report on the user experience of using a campus infrastructure interfaced to a national
cyberinfrastructure - the successes and the problems
