We are glad to announce the 2018 Bicocca-Surrey joint School, to be held at University Milano-Bicocca on 17-21 September 2018.
The School aims to provide PhD students and young postdocs with some of the fundamental tools for the study of supersymmetric gauge theories, in connection with string theory, supergravity and the AdS/CFT correspondence.
The School will cover key topics concerning non-perturbative dynamics of supersymmetric gauge theories in 3D and 4D including:
•Non-renormalization theorems
•Seiberg Dualities
•A- and F- maximization
More advanced lectures will be dedicated to:
•Supersymmetric localization
•Classical and Quantum Integrability
•Solution Generating Techniques in Supergravity
Advisory committee:
Sara Pasquetti, Silvia Penati, Ian Roulstone, Alessandro Torrielli, Jan Gutowski
Organization support: Niki Martin, Marco Pitrelli, Matteo Sacchi
The School is funded by Fondazione Cariplo and Regione Lombardia, grant n. 2015-1253, University of Milan Bicocca, INFN and the University of Surrey
