SOCIAL DINNER
The social evening will be on Monday night starting at 7pm
From 7 to 8 pm:
We will start by enjoying some mulled wine (Glühwein) at Chuglä Bar on Nordwandplatz, 7 minutes away walking from the conference venue. Non alcoholic option will be available. The bar is outside, so please take some good clothes to stay warm.

From 8 pm onward:
We will then go to Barry's restaurant in hotel Eiger, 3 minutes away from the bar, to eat a typical Swiss cheese fondue. An option will be available for people that are vegan or does not like cheese.

The workshop will take place in the 4-star Sunstar hotel located in Grindelwald village, in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Details on the hotel can be found here
Double rooms are available at the 4-stars Sunstar hotel, where the conference will be held,
at the price of:
192 Swiss francs (~192 $) for single use, 284 Swiss francs (284 $) for double use.
This price includes breakfast, and free access to the swimming pool and steam bath.

REACHING GRINDELWALD
Grindelwald is in a remote place, but is easily accessible by train.
For international attendees, the best option is to land in Zurich and then take the train to Grindelwald.
From Zurich airport, travel time ~3 hours
1. Take the train to Bern
2. Change in Bern at take the train to Interlaken Ost
3. Change in Interlaken Ost and take the train to Grindelwald.
From Geneva airport, travel time 3.5 to 4 hours
1. Take the train to Bern
2. Change in Bern at take the train to Interlaken Ost
3. Change in Interlaken Ost and take the train to Grindelwald.

You can prebook a return train tickets from Zurich or Geneva to Grindelwald for 154 Swiss francs (~154 $) at this address.
