For accomodation during the workshop we suggest one of the two options
1. Hotels within walking distance to the IFJ PAN
Some of the options are:
- Q Hotel Krakow (5 min walk)
- System Hotel Kraków (5 min walk)
- Crown Piast Hotel and Park
- Hotel Conrad Krakow (20 min walk, bus connection)
- Hotel Major (20 min walk, bus connection)
- Hotel Demel (30min walk, tram and bus connection)
- Novotel Krakow City West (30 min walk, 10 min bus)
2. Hotels in the downtown touristic area
Krakow is a known touristic destination and as such offers plentiful of accommodation options at every price range and standard (can be easily found eg. through booking.com).
The IFJ PAN is over an hour of walking distance from the Main Market. Therefore we recommend taking a bus or a tram, depending on an exact location of the hotel, to reach the venue. To find best bus and tram connections we suggest using some of the online services eg. jakdojade.pl (available in English and available as a smartphone application). The tickets can be purchased in the machines at the bus stops or inside buses or trams (English menu available). Some of them accept credit cards. One way ticket is 3.80 PLN and is valid for a 40 min ride. Ticket has to be validated upon entering a vehicle.
