Description
In this work we study, by means of Monte Carlo simulations, the
topological properties of Yang-Mills (YM) theory in presence of the
double trace deformation. The deformation consists of an extra piece
added to the standard YM action, which forbids the deconfinement phase
transition even at high temperature. We compute topological
observables (such as the topological susceptibility and the first term
of the theta expansion of the free energy) in the deformed theory and
we compare them with the known values of the undeformed one in order
to check if the trace deformation modifies such properties or not.
