We highlight in particular the Senate Square and Helsinki Cathedral in downtown, the contemporary art museum Kiasma near the main railway station and the Suomenlinna sea fortress a short ferry ride away from downtown Helsinki.
A day trip to Tallinn is also possible. Ferries between Helsinki and Tallinn are operated by many companies and the ride takes around two hours.
