Description
LOFAR is the world leading radio interferometer for the observation of the low-frequency sky. In this talk I will describe the scope of the ongoing LOFAR Two-metre Sky Survey (LoTSS), which will eventually map the complete Northern hemisphere at unprecedented sensitivity and angular resolution. I will present a study of the angular two-point correlation based on the LoTSS value added source catalogue published with the first data release (Shimwell et al. 2019). The radio sky allows us to probe a different set of tracers of the large scale structure compared to optical and infrared surveys and thus reveals a complementary look at the history of large scale structure.
