Once your application has been accepted, please contact THworkshops.secretariat@cern.ch if you wish to get a room in the CERN hostel. Otherwise here some other suggestions:
Hotels
A list of suggested hotels in the area is also provided on the CERN housing service webpage. Special rates are usually applied for CERN visitors.
Public transportation from locations in Geneva, Meyrin or Cointrin is efficient and often a bus pass is included in the price of the hotel.
Notice that the main CERN entrance is in Switzerland, while some of the suggested hotels are located in France. Some hotels on the French side offer a shuttle service to CERN with 24 hours notice.
