Santiago de Compostela is in the North west corner of Spain (Galicia), far away of the main European hubs, the best option to reach Santiago is by plane. Galicia has 3 airports shown on the map, being the best option Santiago the Compostela Airport. There are direct connections to several European destinations and also via Madrid or Barcelona

The access to the town is ensured by public transportation (bus http://www.aena.es/en/santiago-airport/public-transport.html) line 6A  and taxi at fix rate of 21 € / trip.  

The airport of Santiago de Compostela has several direct international connections with  Bassel, Bologne, Frankfurt, Geneva, London, Milan and Paris.
