Code of Conduct

The Connecting the Dots workshop is a community event intended for presentations, networking and collaboration as well as learning.  We hope to establish a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone, free from any form of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation, regardless of their background or identity.  We wish to gain from a diversity of ideas and perspectives on often complex problems. Disagreement and healthy discussion of conflicting viewpoints is welcome: the best solutions to hard problems rarely come from a single angle. We value a welcoming, considerate and respectful environment that encourages the open and free exchange of scientific ideas. We expect all workshop participants to respect these guidelines during the workshop and its social events, and encourage participants to reach to the the local organizers or international organizing committee with any concerns that arise. The organizers are committed to addressing any concerns in a timely and fair manner.
